Rancher Federal is using the Combine Platform as a sandbox environment to better meet the needs of our classified customers on Platform One.  Combine’s dashboard allows developers to quickly know when their code will not operate in the classified environment.

• Citrix approached Sequoia to use Combine to migrate network software appliance solutions.
• Citrix then leveraged Combine during a proposal to demonstrate C2S competency and compatibility, resulting in the award of a $64 million contract to Citrix. Citrix directly attributes use of Combine as a key factor in the award.

• Digital Globe used Sequoia Combine as a force multiplier as they delivered software to the NGA over the life of a 3-year contract.
• Combine allowed Digital Globe to “build low & deliver high” which maximized labor cost savings for both Digital Globe and NGA by utilizing 25 uncleared & only 5 cleared resources, opposed to 30 fully cleared resources.
• The average difference in salary for a cleared & uncleared resource is 20%, which resulted in significant cost savings for Digital Globe.
• Building low reduced the NGA facilities and seating requirements which resulted in less people having access to classified networks and ultimately improving the NGA’s overall security posture.

“We attempted to build C2S support into our products by engineering the support with the help of design specifications and then deploying within live C2S environments however, after realizing that our lack of C2S familiarity was resulting in products with C2S connection issues, we felt that our issues were causing brand damage with our long standing customers In a bid to regain their trust we looked for approved C2S testing environments that would allow us to ensure that our products worked correctly on the first try.

This is when we found the Sequoia company and their Combine service With Sequoia’s support, we quickly established a presence in their Combine service and within 1 month, was able to qualify two product’s C2S connection capabilities Without Sequoia’s support, we would not have been able to test and qualify our C2S design capabilities and avoid further brand damage Sequoia is a fantastic and easy to use C2S service that allows commercial corporations to test C2S functionality without having to be in a SCIF environment Moving forward we plan to utilize the Sequoia Combine service as we continue to build C2S functionality into our expanding product line.”

After one month of testing in Combine, Veritas was able to meet C2S qualifications

Palo Alto Networks (then Evident IO) approached Sequoia with a challenge. Their cloud optimization SaaS tool which used AWS APIs across multiple accounts, required integration with the Government's proprietary authentication/authorization API CAP. They formed a 6-person Tiger Team and integrated their solution into Combine over a course of 5 months, collaborating with Sequoia staff to confirm functionality. Using Combine's dashboard, Palo Alto was able to identify errors in their code which would prevent the solution from working in the classified cloud. Once they had fixed the errors, Palo Alto engineers deployed the solution to the cloud and it was functional on day one.

• Splunk’s IC customer base requested a dashboard plugin to be made available in C2S. The plugin was incompatible with C2S and Splunk attempted for over a year to engineer compatibility but was unable to. 
• Splunk approached Sequoia and leveraged Combine as an emulation of C2S to better support their development teams. 
• In less than two months Splunk was able to build C2S compatibility for their plugin, and deliver it to their customer. The plugin worked day one out of the box resulting in a significant success for Splunk.

• CloudBees was under contract with InQTel to migrate their RedHat OpenShift cluster-based CI/CD solution to C2S.
• CloudBees was working with another vendor for cloud emulation but was not getting sufficient support from that vendor and their schedule started to slip.
• CloudBees approached Sequoia with 30 days remaining to deliver their migration. The Sequoia team leveraged their relationship with RedHat to reproduce the OpenShift environment inside Combine to specification and supported CloudBees as they migrated their solution into Combine.
• CloudBees was able to successfully deploy to their customer on time and have their solution work out of the box.
