Sequoia was founded in 2012 by passionate technologists who had two goals: (1) to deliver the best in software engineering to the National Security sector, and (2) to build a company that treated its people right. In the years since then Sequoia has not wavered from those goals.

Passionate software engineer who delivers both strong technical prowess paired with intuitive communication and people skills. Shapes the strategic technical direction of Sequoia, guides employee education and certification efforts, and positions the team to best meet rapidly changing customer needs. Leads and directs the Combine product teams and works closely with Combine customers to successfully achieve their goals.

Talented human resources professional with over 20 years of experience handling full cycle technical recruitment, overseeing contracts, maintaining client relationships, and support employees the day to day operations of Sequoia.

Exceptional sales leader with almost 10 years of sales and business development experience. Leverages his talent for clear communication and sincere personal interaction, to drive both business development within the US Intelligence Community and also sales of Combine to the commercial and US Government sectors.

Susan Morris

Susan Morris

VP of Business Development, DoD

Focused on growing Sequoia services, Susan looks for opportunities to work with prime contractors or lead solutions that showcase Sequoia’s talent and experience.  She knows that as a small business Sequoia doesn’t have all of the solutions, and so she is always interested in working with team members to develop the complete solutions to the Government’s problems. In the warmer months she can usually be found in the garden after work and when it is too cold to work in the garden, she is painting.
Desi Manalang

Desi Manalang

Director of Finance

Skilled finance professional who oversees and adminsters all areas of finance for Sequoia including: payroll, accounts payable and receivables, billing, cash management, general ledger, banking and reconciliations. Provide strategic analysis for senior management to inform leadership decisions and also serve as the focal point for human resources management and interactions with benefits providers.
